The eighth grade students took the Georgia Writing Exam back in January.  The exam is an evaluation of each student response to an assigned prompt.  Students are assigned a topic from a prompt bank representing two genres: expository and persuasive.  Over 89% of our students met or exceeded standards on the Writing Exam compared to 74% for the entire Muscogee County School District and 77% for the State of Georgia.

A special thank you to our teachers, Ms. Isbell, Mrs. Kauffman, Mrs. Woodrum, Mrs. Davis, and Mrs. McMillan.  These teachers worked extremely hard to prepare our eighth grade students for this exam.

The CRCT exams will be administered April 21st through April 25th.  Students - make sure you continue to work hard and stay focused on your learning.  Parents - please continue to encourage and help your child be the best he or she can be.  Thank you for all of your continued support.
